New Programs now being offered at the Medway Senior Center Building:

Essential Strength and Balance          Tuesday afternoons beginning in December 12:30 -1:15      If you want to do something to stay healthy and maintain your independence, regular exercise is the answer!  This class will focus on increasing balance and fall prevention. Gently strengthening and stretching all of our muscles. The entire class can be done in a chair, or part sitting and part standing behind a chair.

Beginner level Simplified Tai Chi        Tuesday afternoons beginning in December 1:30 - 2:30     Wednesday evenings beginning November 28th 6:00-7:00 Focuses on the 24 Simplified Short Form and includes practice of various qigong forms.

Intermediate Tai Chi
Tuesday Evenings 6 - 7 p.m.

Focuses on both the 24 Simplified Posture, the 85 Posture Yang Form, Tai Chi Martial Applications as well as various Qigong forms.
Ideal for students who have had some tai chi background and those wanting to advance their practice.

Self Defense Training for Women at Ten Club in Natick, MAWomen's Self Defense Classes at Ten Club, Natick, MAMartial Art Training for Women, offered by Makoto-Do at Northeastern Tae Kwon Do Academy, Bellingham, MASelf Defense Training for Women at Ten Club Natick, offered to both Members and Non-members

Ongoing self defense classes for women now held at the Medway Senior Center Blg on 76 Oakland Street, in Medway, MA, on  the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month from 4:00-5:00 

Taught by Jeanne M. Donnelly, 4th Dan Black Belt  with Erica L. Daloia, 3rd Dan Black Belt. Both Jeanne and Erica are also licensed mental health counselors.                 Jeanne worked as a rape crisis counselor, and has been teaching self defense to women for close to 30 years     

These classes now teach women how multiple people can effectively take down a gunman

Getting up from a Fall: Free Workshop
You've taken fall prevention classes, made changes to your home, and are careful how you move, but despite everything, you have fallen. Now what?
This workshop taught by Jeanne Donnelly in collaboration with the Medway Fire Department will demonstrate how to fall safely, and show different ways to get up from a fall.
